The Lord's Prayer

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Philippians, 4:6

Prayer For June

Our Father in Heaven,
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your Kingdom come.
Your Will be done
On earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation but
Deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the Kingdom the Power and the Glory
For ever and ever.

Amen
'This is what the Lord says: "Do not the wisecboast in their wisdom, or the powerful boast in their power, or the rich boast in their riches. But those who wish to boast should boast in this alone: that they truly know me and understand that I Am the LORD who demonstrates unfailing love and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth, and that I delight in these things.

Jeremiah 9:23-24

Dear God, Help us not to be boastful in the things of earth but in our knowledge and love of You. Help us to understand that we don't do the things we do in our own strength but in the love and power that you give to us. Help us to share this with the worldto bring glory to you.

Al this we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.

Amen
